Whitchway Station
Whitchway is a small personal site dressed up as a London Underground station. The roundel, the line colours, and the departure board are all a nod to the Tube.
Overhead board
The Flights page shows a live board of real aircraft flying within 5 miles, styled as a light-grey-on-black arrivals board with a map beneath it. It refreshes every few seconds and lists the closest flights with their route, type, altitude, speed, track, climb/descent rate and position.
It's not just departures — anything airborne in range shows up, so you'll see arrivals descending (▼), departures climbing (▲) and high overflights passing level (▬). Altitude is in feet, switching to flight levels (FL180 and above); speed is ground speed in knots; track is degrees true. Aircraft parked or taxiing on the ground are hidden.
Workout timer
An interval timer driven by simple workout definitions — pick a routine and it counts you through the rounds.
Flight data
Aircraft positions come from adsb.lol and route details from adsbdb — both free, community-run ADS-B services.
